Our purpose is to empower young Londoners to become confident, resilient individuals who make a positive impact in their communities.
We do this by sharing the skills to cook nutritious meals and the joy of eating together, fostering independence and healthy habits for life.
We believe that delicious wholesome food, prepared from scratch and eaten together can help young people lead happier, healthier lives. We apply this same ethos to our supper clubs and bespoke events.
Eat Club’s Story
Meet Ruth, our CEO and founder. She founded Eat Club armed with a mission that every young person deserves the skills and confidence to cook an affordable, healthy meal, and a table to sit down and eat together at.
Ruth started small, running sessions herself at a handful of youth clubs. Young people would tell her it was the first cooked meal they’d had that week.
Twelve years on, what began as one woman and a shopping trolley has grown into a team of 15 chefs delivering life-changing cooking programmes across London.

Safeguarding
This is something we take very seriously.
